This is a mortgage loan that is available through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for service members, veterans, and their surviving spouses.
Program Details:
The VA loan usually has interest rates that are lower then other loan programs. It also allows for up to 100% financing with no down payment.
Documents needed:
Self-Employed Income Tax Returns and YTD Profit & Loss Statements for self-employed borrowers
Retirement account statements, 401k, Mutual Funds, Money Market, Stocks, etc.
Drivers License, Social Security Card, Any Divorce, Palimony or Alimony or Child Support papers, Green Card or Work Permit if applicable, Any homeownership papers
Bank and Credit Card statements
VA disability awards letter (if applicable), Social Security awards letter (if applicable)
A DD-214, Statement of Service or Points Statement (depending on your service type)
